Has anyone experienced not working LAN ports on thair router?

My wifi works, assigns ip addresses automatic, but not the wired LAN ports.
Im running dd-wrt-v24 beta 12/12/06 , router is Motorola WR850G v2.

Any thoughts?

I haven't experienced this personally, but I've heard about it on a v1. The wiki has some info here. It might be helpful, but I'm not sure if it'll work on a v2. Read it carefully before trying it because involves flashing over WLAN, which can turn nasty if it fails/loses connection.

i've the same problem.

I used the v24 (12/11/2006) perfectly.

i flash over wired cable with the 12/12/2006 and the "routeur" seems like ok, but no ping.

led are ok, the switch on the "routeur" is ok, but the function "routeur" not.

i've nothing for testing wifi now, i hope tomorrow.

After flashing the v24 / 12-12-06 std, on to my WRT54G v2.0. All of the LAN ports failed to accept any connection but the lights turn on. The WLAN worked fine. I decided to flash to v24 / 11-12-06 over WLAN, it worked, the LAN ports started working but then the WLAN was not broadcasting any signal. So I flashed to v24 / 08-12-06 and every thing seems ok at this time. Smile

I have to confirm the problem with LAN connection with DD-WRT v24 12/12/06 on a Linksys WRT54GS (CGN1..).

It is impossible to connect to the router over LAN-Ports, but WLAN is working.

Thank you for the replys,

Thanks to you I have successfully flashed back to dd-wrt v24 / 08-12-06 and all seems fine!
I knew I couldn't be the only one in this situation, and i apreciate your quick responses.
Maybe the developers are trying something as the last few betas have different side effects. Prometheus53189 reports his wr54g v2 also behaves the same, so this thread might be useful to more people who found them selves in our situation.

Thanks again,

If I remember it right, it happened to me once when I set the router to "client" mode. Make sure if you all 4 ports checked for LAN access, although I forgot which page is that under.

There was a problem with ADM6996 switch chip (all above mentioned routers have one), but fixed in 18.dec. builds.

Just reflash with 18.dec. over wireless (or at boot wait)
