Just installed the following on Dlink DIR-825 Rev C Firmware 3.00

DD-WRT Web Management Screen Indicating:

DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/24/13) std - build 20548

Linux 3.5.7-svn20542 #4394 Thu Jan 24 05:21:05 CET 2013 mips

Atheros AR9344 rev 1.1 (0x2121)

I use both DD-WRT and OpenWrt on Dlink DIR-825's in all of my family installations. Both packages have advantages and disadvantages.

OpenWrt build (that I compiled myself on a CentOS Linux development box) has run for over 300 days in two sites where I have a small UPS. I make quite a few configuration changes but go out of my way to restart the interfaces rather than just rebooting the router. I would have to say I really like these old Dlinks 825's.

But today it would seem that DD-WRT is the answer for the Rev C version of hardware (probably the last production run from Dlink) as I can't find an Openwrt trunk for this puppy.

Anyways, I will report back if I have issues with uptime on this this rev of DD-WRT.
