Hehe, I'm sure the router knew where it was heading and wanted to give the master a real challenge _________________

Eko was kidding! Don't play with people's feelings this way, somebody can die from a heart attack and I bet lots of E4200 owners felt sad when they knew your router died
I wish I were kidding. It seems that it is very sensitive to wrong nvram size build (it needs 60k nvram), so when I flashed it with 32k build, it died. No more cfe - nothing. I was finally able to erase nvram with jtag. Lesson learned - use only 60k nv builds with e4200.!!
Now try to get the new driver to run 40MHz channels. _________________ Read the forum announcements thoroughly! Be cautious if you're inexperienced.

Is there a problem with the Linksys e4200 and 40 MHz?
There's a problem with the new driver not using 40MHz channels on any hardware. _________________ Read the forum announcements thoroughly! Be cautious if you're inexperienced.

Good to hear BrainSlayer, what would the donation link be for your side? _________________ x1 Linksys E2000 w/x2 6dbi Antennas[DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/13/11) std-usb-nas-build 16785] x1 Linksys E4200 [DD-WRT.v24-17201_NEWD-2_K2.6_big-nv60k (06/14/11)]

the link is very direct. consider that the company is co owned by me. all donations duty handling is made by my company and it is directly forwarded with ups to my working place. this just has a delay of 24 hours. i do normally avoid to publish my real address, since i have enough work on my table and i really like my privacy. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking?
