how can i restore nvrambak from 1 router to a different router, recently my old one broke and i have my vpn and pppoe information in the backup, my new router is wrt160n v3

that isn't possible.
if your old router will still boot and you can get to it via telnet or the gui, you can do an "nvram show", then copy and paste the required variables into notepad or similar.
then you can do an "nvram set" of those variables on the new router. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

ok thanks, is there anyway that i might be able to get my pppoe and vpn user and password out of the nvrambak.bin file ?
Sorry...anyone can make a nvrambackup of any router they get into. While I don't know of a way, if there was one, no one could post it here. Call you ISP and get it changed. _________________ SIG:
