Hey Guys,
Ryan here with a hardware request. Netgear has gone back to Atheros with this router. v1 had Atheros, v2 was Broadcom. v2 is supported, but v3 is new so I would like to know if it could be supported. This router runs a modified version of OpenWRT. I was reading some other post where they were giving some technical details of the router, so here we go:
Code:
root@WNR2000v3:/# cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00040000 00010000 "u-boot"
mtd1: 00010000 00010000 "u-boot-env"
mtd2: 00350000 00010000 "rootfs"
mtd3: 00010000 00010000 "config"
mtd4: 00020000 00010000 "language_table"
mtd5: 00010000 00010000 "pot"
mtd6: 00010000 00010000 "traffic_meter"
mtd7: 00010000 00010000 "ART"
mtd8: 0034ffc0 00010000 "mount_fs"

Code:
root@WNR2000v3:/# cat /proc/meminfo

I think since ryguy was kind enough to provide the info he did in the first post, this should be the "official" thread for this router request Smile Good stuff, thanks man!

I have a v3 model that I'm not running at the moment, hoping I can get dd on it. Want to get a repeater going on it that uses wpa2 which the stock crap doesn't do.

I can wire up a serial console to it and would be happy to test a dev/beta version.. Even if it bricked it. I could probably even jtag it if pointed to the right pinout and software.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance. Thanks!

Also hoping for a port to this router as it's been sitting on my bookshelf for the past month. It was bought with the purpose of being a wireless repeater and I'm unable to use it for this purpose until dd-wrt is released for it.
