Hi,

I have an Asus wl500gpv2 running dd-wrt. I installed lirc with ipkg-opt but unfortunately the only lirc driver available is udp. It seems like lirc can only be compiled (at least for openwrt/dd-wrt) with support for one driver at a time.

I want to drive a Manta TR1 (from twistedmelon) usb IR transeiver with lirc. This piece of hardware is supposedly supported with lirc. I am in the process of installing ubuntu on a vm just to test this out.

Can anyone give me some guidance on setting up a build environment to recompile lirc with a different driver?
