Hello I have a WRT610N v2 with firmware

Firmware Version DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/07/10) mega - build 14896

I am trying to use the sierra wireless 250U device with it. It seems to recognize it but I am not able to get it working in 4g mode

I have pasted dmesg when I plug it in through a USB hub because it overcurrents when plugging it in directly

usb 1-1.4.1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6
usb 1-1.4.1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
etherip: Ethernet over IPv4 tunneling driver
eth0: no IPv6 routers present
usbcore: registered new interface driver cdc_ether
usb 1-1: USB disconnect, address 2
usb 1-1.4: USB disconnect, address 3
usb 1-1.4.1: USB disconnect, address 6
usb 1-1.4.2: USB disconnect, address 5
usb 1-1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 7
usb 1-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
hub 1-1:1.0: USB hub found
hub 1-1:1.0: 7 ports detected
usb 1-1.4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8
usb 1-1.4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
hub 1-1.4:1.0: USB hub found
hub 1-1.4:1.0: 2 ports detected
usb 1-1.4.2: new full speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 10
usb 1-1.4.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
usb 1-1.4.1: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 11
usb 1-1.4.1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

The other device is just power

I have tried using the cdc-ether driver as that was suggested in another post.

I am not sure if theirs a way to paste usb devices.

It's pointless, and 4G is not supported by DD-WRT (AFAIK).

The USB transfer rates from the BCM4718 CPU will be a huge bottleneck on network throughput anyways..

Also, if that USB hub is powered, it will cause major problems. Remove the power from it, then post another dmesg..
