I just acquired a DIR-815, and I'm wondering if I can put dd-wrt on it (or if I will ever be able to). I see very little mention of the 815 here. Is it a known-incompatible with dd-wrt? Or is it just too new to be on the radar yet?
Has anyone successfully flashed dd-wrt to the 815? If so, what version, and what were your experiences?

depends. normally we have to wait until we receive a hardware sample from the vendor or as donation by a user. then we can work on it. if its ralink based it normally just takes some days to get it working _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? BUMP!
I also recently got the DIR-815. It's working great and It's definitely an improvement over my old DIR-615 But adding a little *zing* to it would be nice. Is there a way I can be notified when DD-WRT is available for this router? Looking forward to it.
There is a used 815 on eBay in the UK, ending on Monday 5/9. If Brainslayer or anyone on the dd-wrt dev team were to buy it, I'd be happy to make a dd-wrt donation covering the costs.
Just thought I'd put in my request for DIR-815 support too. This is a very popular, highly-rated router (which is why I got one), so it'd be great if your cool s/w were available for it... Thanks!
I am replace my old router with dir-815 and the origal firmware not work well for me,so this is the bad replace for me.
Is it any chance to dd-wrt support this router?
