I have this Buffalo WZR-600 DHP router with the latest community DD-WRT firmware installed (wzr-600dhp-dd-wrt-webupgrade-MULTI.bin). The issue I'm having is that when I set it up with the required text command for the wake on lan feature (arp -i br0 -s 192.168.1.120 FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF) the 2.4 Ghz band becomes extremely slow, not affecting the 5 Ghz band though.

I'm completely sure this is the problem because when I delete such command everything goes back to normal and overall speed is fine again.

Is there any work around trick to fix this issue?

Thank you for your reply. First of all I am going to try to explain myself as good as possible, since English is not my first Language.

Basically what I want to do is wake a remote PC from a distant PC at my work. I followed this guide in the Wiki: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/WOL , but as I stated before, everytime I do this the 2.4 Ghz band becomes extremely slow and I have to give up and undo all the steps for it to return back to normal again. As I said before de 5 Ghz band is not affected at all.

I don´t know what exactly is what I am doing wrong
