Hallo,

ich möchte gerne auf meinem Siemens SE505, dem ich eine USB-Buchse und ein RAM-Upgrade verpasst habe, die USB-Unterstützung und vorallem Samba installieren.

Mit ipkg ist das ja theoretisch alles zu schaffen, aber: Bei den ganzen USB-Treibern muss man die insmod-Klamotten erst noch ins Startup-Skript reinschreiben und samba kommt gar nicht klar, da es sich in /jffs/etc installiert und nicht in /etc.

Daher meine Frage: Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, /etc mithilfe der jffs-Partition writeable zu machen?

Meine umständliche Idee wäre:
- /etc des Firmware-Images unter neuem Namen mounten.
- im Ordner /jffs/etc softlinks zu ALLEN Dateien und Verzeichnissen des Original /etc -Ordners erstellen
- /jffs/etc als /etc mounten

Neue Dateien würden somit alle auf der JFFS-Partition landen, die alten Dateien wären dann aber trotzdem noch erreichbar.

Liege ich da richtig? Habe ich damit Chancen? ...oder: Geht es irgendwie einfacher?!

Ich freue mich über jeden sinnvollen Post dazu!
Speziell: Wie erstelle ich softlinks? ... und dann auch noch zu jeder Datei/Ordner im Original /etc-Ordner? (Skript?)
