DD-WRT is a Linux based alternative OpenSource firmware suitable for a great variety of WLAN routers and embedded systems. The main emphasis lies on providing the easiest possible handling while at the same time supporting a great number of functionalities within the framework of the respective hardware platform used.

802.11n Mini-PCI cards available in the DD-WRT shop

After introducing IEEE 802.11n support for Atheros based radios this year we have added matching high quality Mini-PCI cards for embedded boards to the products offered in the DD-WRT shop.

BUFFALO HighPower routers with DD-WRT as factory firmware

BUFFALO has decided to use DD-WRT as the factory default for its HighPower Routers WZR-HP-G300NH, WHR-HP-G300N and WHR-HP-GN distributed in the US and the EU and should be available in june 2010. The firmware is a full featured DD-WRT with a BUFFALO branded interface and contains some BUFFALO specific features.

802.11n SoC support

We have made the final touches to firmwares for some of the most requested 11n devices based on Atheros WiSoC. Among these are for instance the Linksys WRT160NL and some Buffalo routers. Please use the router database to obtain the associated files.
