I've done that and still it keeps dropping to Auto.
Does anyone know of a version that didn't lose the 5ghz channels? |

Ok, but why does it keep reverting to Auto no matter what I select? I think I may just go with VT40 as I have a few channels there to select from. | |

Well, Jay, it's hard to say. Could be whatever port you have set to use is blocked by wherever you are at or could be something else.
You should at least try dd-wrt build r33555. AFAIK it will do ' ... |

Ok, thanks. FWIW when I try to SSH to the router from the other wifi from my Mac it times out. The other network is on a Netgear R7000P. | |
