Were you able to get this sorted out? I am attempting a similar setup with a WRT54G as a switch & a pfsense box handling all the routing, fire walling, DHCP, etc.

DNS URL would only be applicable if you set up a service like DYNDNS under the Setup --> DDNS tab. Otherwise it would be your router's public IP address.
