Just a thought.. 300n refurbs are available for 38 bucks. 8mb flash, 32 mb ram, 300mhz processor, n radio.

the n radio operates at 2.4 ghz, not in the 5ghz band, & no gig switch but for 40 bucks. ...

Micro will free up FLASH memory. If you want more RAM that isn't the way to go.
