I was unsuccessful in trying to upgrade my WRT610Nv1 from K2.6 to dd-wrt.v24-28417_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega.bin, and so it seems to be bricked. It was an extra router that was available for testing a while back, but it's still a sad loss.

I am able to get 4 or so TTL=100 ping responses upon boot, and while TFTP reports success when flashing <4MB builds of DD-WRT, I have not yet been able to access any management site of any kind. I've tried various methods all around the forums, and aside from pin shorting or JTAG/serial recoveries I'm out of ideas.

Regarding pin shorting, I'm a little worried since posts like 752554 (see below) show a picture of an EON EN29LV640 chip, which my unit does not appear to have - the chip on my unit says MX 29LV640DBTC-90G. If someone more familiar with pin shorting wants to chime in, it would be much appreciated!
