I flashed my TP-Link TL-WR841N and now my connection is dropping my internet and also my firewall is saying it isnt a secure connection. I tried the DD-WRT Ip and it is saying its "Not Available" what did i do wrong? I am ready to toss this router and go by another one and go back to my original settings.
I just flashed to 29816 and initial tests work on my primary router. On my prior version the Bandwidth Monitor did not work, but now it does. I still have to run the following commands to see other devices.
swconfig dev eth0 set enable_vlan 1
swconfig dev eth0 set apply _________________ Testing 2x TP-Link Archer C7 v2 with 38326

Hi everyone here
I used ddwrt on my wr841n v9.2 for some time, everything was nearly perfect until now, I flashed latest 03-31-2016-r29387 and after reboot nothing, I mean only power led comes up and after few seconds all leds flashes and again same loop.
I tried 30/30/30 reset but no luck, it's still same.
Cannot access router via ssh or telnet nor via ethernet, putty only waits with black screen and device reboot itself then putty shows me that connection was closed.
I double checked if bin file were for v9 and yes it was. Nom I'm little bit hopeless that my device is now completely hardbricked...

I also kinda bricked my TL-WR841N v9 router.
I was only able to get ping replies from 192.168.1.1 but I found this youtube video that helped me to recover the router without opening the box.
Basically there is a built in auto download feature in the device that looks for a specific filename on a specific IP address.
Watch the video and it will most likely help to recover your semi bricked router.
