After the Windows 10 Anniversary update, I noticed that I was no longer getting a DNS server assignment in my Windows machine from the router.
I use DNSMasq under services to setup IPv6.
I removed the following line from my "Additional DNSMasq Options" and it started working properly.
dhcp-option=vendor:MSFT,2,1i
I have a Netgear WNDR3700v1
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r30082 std (07/01/16)
ive noticed this after win10 anniversary update too, and i use dnsmasq for ipv6 also..i dont use your dnsmasq option tho..interesting.. _________________ NETGEAR R9000 | RT | 40134 NETGEAR R7800 | AP | 40134

anyone that has problems with ipv6 after windows anniversary update try this:
How to Disable Temp IPv6 Address Feature in Command Prompt
1. Open an Elevated Command Prompt.
a). Enter the following command exactly to disable the random IP address generation feature and then press enter:
netsh interface ipv6 set global randomizeidentifiers=disabled
b). Then input the next command exactly to force Windows to use the EUI-64 standard. Press enter to apply the command:
netsh interface ipv6 set privacy state=disabled
2. Reboot the machine to apply the changes.
pls write if it helped you _________________ TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 - DD-WRT std svn 26372;? 6to4

mine all of a sudden started working today..
Mine started working today too. There was a Windows Update Yesterday afternoon for me.
Hmm
I noticed that sometimes, it gets the ipv6 DNS, but mostly not. This is for the Anniversary updated Windows machines. I think my iPhone is getting the DNS though.
After many tries and config changes I've re-enabled radvd with custom config and ipv6 works again... _________________ TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1 - DD-WRT std svn 26372;? 6to4
