Up and running for about two weeks on Asus AC68U. Works great! Only issue I've noticed is that "scheduled reboot" doesn't work. No reboot at the set day and time.
Cron issue.

Hello Everyone,

Factory defalts with a fresh flash on both my R7000's

I can't reboot my R7000's over ssh from either client or server side of my TAP VPN. They just hang in an unusable state. The only way to get in working order after this reboot hang/stall is a power cycle of the device.

Adding a guest VAP wl0.1 using WPA2-personal with wl0 using wpa2-enterprise (with built-in radius server) seems to cause random reboots every 30-40 minutes or until I remove guest VAP setup.

OpenVPN forces aes-256-gcm which is nice, but it shouldn't.

OpenVPN v2.4 webif should also show the newver TLS 1.2 options like TLS-ECDHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-GCM-SHA384

The R7000's run great with the following in Additional Config:
Code:
tls-cipher TLS-ECDHE-RSA-WITH-AES-256-GCM-SHA384
cipher aes-256-gcm
auth sha384
verb 1

This will allow for a super secure OpenVPN setup with very little overhead when using the default Easy-RSA 3.x values, that means 2048-bit certs. Cool

Aside from my reboot over SSH hang and strange VAP issue, this build has been super stable.

Kong and BS thanks again for all your hard work.

Regards,

Mrengles

I've been running this build for over a week now on my R7000

- OpenVPN in daemon mode doesn't auto generate "cert cert_file" anymore (this still worked in 31100M)

- When setting the channel to auto the 2.4Ghz band can not be set to 20Mhz, it will always be 40Mhz regardless of the setting

- nslookup ignores the provided server and always uses the default (this is a compiler issue apparently, openwrt had similar issues)

- I can't seem to force my 5Ghz band to 80Mhz, it is always 40Mhz regardless of any settings.

Let me know if i can test more, or need to provide more info

Please let us know the details of the new option autoupdate. I have it enabled and waiting to see if it will pick up build 31570 automatically.
Thanks

Hi, I flashed DD-WRT v3.0-r31520M kongac (03/01/17) to my EA6900 and it could not upgrade to the lastest Kong firmware or BrainSlayer builds. I've tried both web upgrade and ddup --flahs-latest command but it still remained in 31529M. Could anyone help? Thanks a lot.

For me this is a stable build,
all working NAS included.

I downgraded from latest because I experienced several issues i.e. NAS going to sleep mode till to reboot.

Regards
