Hi,

WRT-1900AC V1.

I installed the version of dd-wrt released on feb 23, everything working fine (/betas/2016/02-23-2016-r29147/linksys-wrt1900ac/)

Now I would like to get back to original firmware.
I downloaded the version Ver.1.1.10.167514
( http://cache-w.belkin.com/support/dl/FW_WRT1900AC_1.1.10.167514_prod.img )
When I try to install the original Lynksys firmware using the dd-wrt web interface it doesn’t work.
The router reboot and become unresponsive. I wait 10 min but still cannot connect to 192.168.1.1 (default IP address when resetting, right?)

I do a hard reset and I get back to dd-wrt.

Any guidance, procedure, hints for me?
Thanks,

You can't flash original LinkSys FW from DD-WRT. First you must flash the one from Kong (http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-MVEBU/LinksysFW/), which is 1.1.8, and then you can upgrade to last release.

Regards.

I install: http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-MVEBU/LinksysFW/WRT1900AC-ddwrt-to-factory.img.bin

Then I can go back to the linksys firmware?

any 30-30-30 to do?

Thanks,

No, just install that firmware. The router will reboot in LinkSys 1.1.8 firmware. From LinkSys interface you can upgrade (if you want) to 1.1.10 release.

I don't think that you need 30-30-30. At least I don't need it.

I think so, but I don't have a v2, only v1.

Go to desipro and read the names on the files. It says dd-wrt to linksys wrt1900ACV2. But check it there will be a build there with the correct model.

On a side note. My router changes to a strange ip when flashing back to stock which isnt the same range I had before on DD and not 192.168.1.1.

So needless to say inputting 192.168.1.1 didn't work.

Used auto dhcp on NIC and then checked the gateway or use linksyssmartwifi url with auto dhcp on NIC too to get to linksys stock screen if u struggling.

I'm trying to flash back to stock on my WRT1900ACv2 and it doesn't seem like Kong's dd-wrt-to-stock file works Sad

Kong's site is down, I am unable to get to:

http://desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-MVEBU/LinksysFW/WRT1900AC-ddwrt-to-factory.img.bin

I need to revert my Linksys WRT1900ACS back to stock but unfortunately his site no longer has the files.
Does anyone here have a copy of this file they can provide?

I am very sorry then. I did try this Kong designed ddwrt.to.factory files several times on wrt1900acv1 and wrt1200acv1 and it worked very well.

I newer said that it will work for wrt1900acv2. If I remember correctly it was a separate Kong build and recovery file for wrt1900acV2. Sorry for confusion
