I download large gigabyte files from my remote server with netbios over tcp/ip because it is faster than http and ftp.

Although netbios maxes out my internet connection, it has a lot of buffer bloat doing so.

So I set QoS to 115mbps, just below max.

On speed tests, buffer bloat disappears, but it drastically reduces my netbios download from 15MB/s to just 1.5MB/s.

However, regular http file downloads work fine with qos. I'm able to max out the speed limiter ~14MB/s and eliminate buffer bloat.

How do I reduce buffer bloat and still keep my netbios speed running at 95%?
