Anyone have insight on where it went, or a working location to download his FW?
Kong quit supporting the WRT's sometime back and took his site down. Here is a link to a site that has the back to Linksys firmware and one of Kong's builds, I assume his last.

The http://source.wifihell.com/3-DD-WRT-KONG/K3-AC-MVEBU/ is dated by 08-Jan-2016 and looks very outdated compare to latest Kong build dated by 08-Jan-2017. In any case there is no point to use the Kong builds anymore

I need the support, I like to install the dd-wrt on my new WRT1900ACS V2. I have read the posts and downloaded the latest files for WRT1900ACS V2. The file is factory-to-ddwrt.bin. Do I need to change the extension to .img ?? Is the current version 32170 stable to install ??
To install, I will Login to the router stock firmware and upload the factory-to-ddwrt.bin/img. Is it correct procedure ?

No need to change the extension name. Yes, your procedure is correct. Yes, r32170 is stable.
Have fun. It's very easy to install the firmware and you really don't need to worry about bricking your device. You can easily boot between the two different firmwares.

I have tried the DDWRT on Linksys WRT1900ACS v2. When I turn off/on 3 times, it returns to Linkysy firmware. How to delete the DDWRT on the other partition completely ?

When you are running the stock Linksys just flash another stock firmware, it will overwrite the DD-WRT on the other partition. _________________ Tutorial for flashing WRT series WRT Installation,Upgrade & Basic Setup–Cliff Notes

Hi, I recently purchased 3 - WRT1900AC and upgraded them from stock Linksys to DDWRT. After the upgrade, unfortunately I do not have internet access. Here are the quick steps:
- perform the 30-30-30 reset on stock Linksys firmware.
- then upgrade from stock Linksys to 07-19-2017-r32753/linksys-wrt1900acv2/ (I have v2 version)
- then perform the 30-30-30 reset on r32753 DDWRT firmware
After flashing to DDWRT, unfortunately I do not have internet access (even after power cycling my cable modem, then connect the WRT1900).
If you look at the attached screen shot, you can see there is no WAN IP address, but I believe the problem 'might' be related to the fact that the MAC addresses for the WAN and LAN are the same.
Any suggestions on what to change or what the problem is?

Cut down the size of the pictures if you can.
The same MAC between LAN and WAN is normal, I believe it has something to do with the internal communication within the unit.
Also, 30-30-30 you do not want to do on these newer devices, can brick it, read the post in my signature, and there are some who just erase nvram.
