Hello - I have an R7000 running kong dd-wrt 31980. I would like to add small hard-wired routers around my house also running dd-wrt to create a WiFi mesh network. Is there a how-to or tutorial somewhere that can help me configure all the dd-wrts to create that network?

I've got an R7000 and 2 wired routers as accespoint

all with dd-wrt firmware (kong)

Mesh wifi shoud give mutch better result for switching AP

Or am I wrong?

Can it be added to ddwrt?

What you are asking is generally up to the client.
Some do better than others.
There are also apps that claim to help with such ...just guess but most likely will work well for some clients but not others.
