I just pulled out an old Belkin F7D8301 v1 and upgraded it to a K3.x release with DD-WRT v3.0-r33607 mega (10/25/17), with the aim to set up a repeater bridge.

Using the instructions from https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge I managed to set up the repeater bridge.

I have everything working, but don't seem to be getting ip's assigned from the main router via DHCP. When I manually set my IP, all works fine. Any ideas?

Can you show a screenshot of your setup - basic setup page? Did you setup local ip/subnet/gateway correctly?

Did you reboot the router after making changes? Otherwise you will not get an IP address

Sure, it should be all good here, when I manually set up my IP and connect to the RB, everything works flawlessly.

Yep, rebooted a few times, it was a bit erratic initially, but after a few reboots of both the main router and the RB, I now have it all up an working Smile

I just finished pulling a cable from the main router, got to crimp some plugs, and set up this Belkin as an AP. Smile

you dont need local DNS...leave it blank and turn off all DNSMasq features put router in router mode so no NAT
if its not working 90% of the case is bad settings 10% is firmware so revise your settings
