I have lurked the forum for a couple of days and tried to learn as much as possible, but I have not found a solution to my problem or its been so complicated that I don't know how to proceed.

My setup
ISP fiber -> Netgear R9000 ->cat5 -> NAS
everything else is connected via wifi on the same router.

The router is running DD-WRT v3.0-r34015M kongal.
I have OpenVPN on my router and all traffic is and should go via VPN

My problem
I have a torrent client on my NAS, no problem getting files down to my NAS, but no one can get files from me, the port is closed. I have done a port-forwarded on the router. The port is also open at my VPN supplier and NAS.

Everything works until I turn on VPN, then the port is closed from the outside.

I contacted my VPN supplier to see if the port actually is open, the told me that the problem is that port-forward is set on the WAN interface and not OpenVPN.

My question, is there a way to route this so that it works as I want?

I must have missed that one, it's working now.
