Hello to all.
I tried several times, and cant get the welcome DD-WRT in telnet after loading ap61.ram and then go.

I did everthing ok, ( I Guess)

connect cable to WAN, set ip 192.168.20.80, etc.

Load ap61.ram and then press go, and got disconnected as spected. and the router reboot.

But in the next step, config mi IP to 192.168.1.2 or 1.23 cant connect to telnet 192.168.1.1 using a lan port on router.

Tried ping on 192.168.1.1 and with no reply.

Will apreciate any help!!. thank you

maybe is this step, I dont understand.

(set your DHCP server to serve 192.168.1.1 as the only address in the DHCP pool and the TFTP must also be available at 192.168.1.2)

I.m on windows 10, what it means set your DHCP server? were? its on the lan adapter config, when I specify the ip 192.168.1.2 ?

If I try an arp, this is what I get

C:\Users\Paula>arp -a

Interface: 192.168.1.2 --- 0x9
Internet Address Physical Address Type
192.168.1.255 ff-ff-ff-ff-ff-ff static
224.0.0.22 01-00-5e-00-00-16 static
224.0.0.251 01-00-5e-00-00-fb static
224.0.0.252 01-00-5e-00-00-fc static
239.255.255.250 01-00-5e-7f-ff-fa static

Is the router on .255? I tryed telnet with no go.

C:\Users\Paula>telnet 192.168.1.255 9000
Connecting To 192.168.1.255...Could not open connection to the host, on port 9000: Connect failed

You can use tftpd32 for DHCP and tftp server on windows 10 machine:
