Or,
If you start with HT40 and then select 20/40, there's no wifi, and status page regards unknown channel.

I've mentioned this before but just sayin' r33555 is good build on QOA or BRCM for all my units.
EDIT: AND ~
YEA, I vote that BS set syslogd to local time.
Now I have to adjust my brain to 6hr dif in syslog... and I was just getting used to 5hr dif........

The OP asked to collect a number of data points in the first post including "Reset". I am not clear on what this means
- Firmware upgrade "after Flashing reset to"?
- Reset Button on the box works\does not work
- Factory Defaults (probably not)
.
That's a good question, too bad no one answered it.
I believe it's suppose to mean reset before flashing. Am I correct someone?
Router: DIR-615e3
Firmware: dir615e3-firmware.bin (v3.0-r33555 std)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.107 #41914 Fri Oct 20 03:00:58 CEST 2017 mips
Status: Working
Reset: No
Notes on configuration:
DNSMasq
Virtual wireless with bridging x2
multiple DHCP server
QOS
Errors:
None
I did a reset and have found many problems:
So status is Bad (with reset)
1. Creating Network bridges from virtual networks does not work (apparently broken since at least 33006)
2. Apply settings on multiple pages does not work (for example Setup->Network and Security->Firewall)
3. Firmware upgrade button does not work (I have had to use command line to upgrade/downgrade)
4. Factory Defaults (reset) does not work (apparently broken after 33006)
5. Firmware restore button broken (apparently broken after 33006)
If firmware is not reset (ie I downgraded to 33006 and restored, then upgraded) firmware works but buttons still broken.
So I put r33555 on the two E2100L WDS bridge yesterday --- happy so far no broken key renewal yet.

Only worked well couple days before key renewal woul break taking up to 30 seconds to right itself.
Set ack timing to 0 -- never done that on these before but seems to do well... one way trip is approx 500M...hummm
also set key renewal to 7200 instead of 3600 ... working good so far

works good, except tv don't show thumbnail pictures on movie files (by MiniDLNA) any more. On previous installed version (r30731) showed.
Although this is a very old build I sill have it on a AP and today it celebrates 1 year on time without problems. I think I can say without exaggerating that was very stable.
