I successfylly flashed the 2017-12-04 r33986, for the moment the later releases seems to brick the thing. I might add that the router was an Archer C9 v4 EU version.

Here is the screenshot of mine :

I guess we are talking for the same device. Just to confirm with you ... what you've done is, installed from here : ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2017/11-04-2017-r33679/tplink_archer-c9v4/ the factory-to-ddwrt.bin and then flashed the 2017-12-04 r33986 ?

Thank you for your help Wink

Exact same device, and yes I used factory-to-ddwrt.bin, but straight to 2017-12-04 r33986...

Worked for me, but do not try any later versions, that will brick or at least semi/brick your router.

I made the mistake of trying a 2018 release and had to do a serial recovery and that was not too fun but I got it working again..

2017-12-04 r33986 should work, but do not try any later version unless you know how to do a serial/tftp recovery....

If you are on stock firmware, you flash factory to ddwrt. If you are already on ddwrt, use webflash. One of them is enough.
