Is anyone using Astrill applet? On VPN "connect" HTTP GUI stops responding. The only way to make it working back is to kill it and re-enable it via ssh. This issue is present on latest FW v3.0-r34880M, it was not present in December build.

I guess it has to be some bug in the new FW? I did a full reset of router settings.

Does anyone have FW from December?

There is a new firmware from Kong today which you can try

Thanks Kong for the new firmware:

DD-WRT v3.0-r34900M std (02/12/18 )

Now Enable option work with: Disable EAPOL Key Retries

Also the dnscrypt option shows the servers list. However unfortunately the save / apply buttons are missing
on the services management page so I couldn't apply to check it. some minor GuI issue fix I guess.
Thanks again for the firmware updates!!!

Kong replied to my PM stating that there was an issue and was supposed to be fixed in the next release.

While I would like to flash it, missing save/apply button on Services page is concerning, as I need to bind some MAC addresses and enable ssh!
Are you sure about it? Did you reset all settings again?

Going to try this right now. What's up with the other 2 random 1KB files that say almost the same name as the webupgrade.bin file?

I didn't try resetting, while upgrading as I have so many things added which needs manual re-entries PIA Sad

It is fixed now, a missing feature and a wrong define caused this.

thats not true. i just can't test 60 ghz, i can't find any test client hardware. my efforts are focused on all platforms like the led code i wrote for ath10k which affects the r9000 and the r7800 at the same time. 4.14 is booting on the r9000 already, but pci does somehow not work. since i found some netfilter related bugs in 4.14, i wont migrate yet to the 4.14 kernel. but all the major enhancements you have seen recently in kongs builds are in fact written by me. (see the new eoip gui etc.)

Hey BrainSlayer, off topic (been using both you and Kong's builds for the R9000) but do you have a paypal link or something where I could donate to you as appreciation/thanks for all the hard work? I've downloaded countless firmware versions from you and Kong's for my R9000, r7800 and my r6300v2. Thanks again and feel free to post here or PM me a link/paypal if you have one Smile

BS shows up once every 3 months (because he's busy of course, not complaining) and you take advantage of this situation just to ask that question man?

There's a huge button to donate on the main page.

First of all, Thanks for all your efforts.. BrainSlayer!
We all do realize and appreciate your hard work in porting dd-wrt onto R9000.
Especially in recent weeks, there are quite a few fixes.enhancements from you and Kong which has made R9000 as a solid stable router now.

I think only few things are left now to call it as best suported router, such as
PPPOE and VLAN support issues. And some folks want to switch 10Gb port for WAN.

Regarding 60Ghz radios, I did try few months ago to connect my two R9000s as WDS bridge but didn't work that time.
I can try this again and if anything got fixed recently.

I think we all will continue to support and put more contributions in the coming months. Very Happy
