Hi everyone!
New member here, after researching for quite a while in the forum about a great dd-wrt routers I decided that I'm buying the WRT1900ACS V2, also that's the only advanced router in that price range I could get in my country and it's so beautiful @_@.
Some Background:
Any way I flashed it with the DD-WRT v3.0-r32170 std (06/01/17),
it acts as my secondary router, the first is also a modem.
this router is connected to the modem by lan via the internet port, I changed the local ip to 192.168.2.1 while the modem is on 192.168.1.1.
setup wireless settings and openVpn with TorGuard with Policy based Routing to my Apple Tv.
got some disabling of led lights in place (couldn't disable the wifi leds for some reason).
Everything works great, perhaps I'd be happier with better vpn speeds but that's for later.
Now What I'm trying to do:
I would like to be able to enable/disable the openVpn on my router without opening my laptop and connecting to the web gui.
I'd like to have an icon on my iPhone that I can press and it will send a telnet/ssh command or whatever to the router (only on wifi), I'm a software developer so I'm not afraid of codding, I'm not asking how to develop the iOs part, I'm more interested in how I get access to the router and tell it I want to enable/disable openVpn.
I searched the web and couldn't find the answer, I saw some apps on apple store that look like they can do half of what I want, but I'm not sure I can trust them with my router information (stupid paranoid me?).
Anyway, would appreciate if someone could point me to the right direction

Just wanted to recognize the developer of the DD-WRT iOS App, Dappitude Limited.
Not only is it a great app for any Apple device, but an update has already been pushed through iTunes earlier today that addressed the above-mentioned request. That's less than 48 hours!
