i flashed an old version of dd-wrt "2013" on my router tp-link 841n v8, and it never get me an ip address and only
power led turns on.
i have connect with it via serial port and give me this:

Change the subject line at the top of your post.

Now to your problem, you forgot to paste in any serial log.

841ND is really easy to recover: https://openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr841nd#tftp_recovery_via_bootloader_for_v8_v9_v10_v11_v12

I use TFT32/TFTP64. I would go back to a factory image (TP-Link, not dd-wrt) though.
