Hello All,
I have been having issues with intermittent network pauses on my router (RT-AC68U) so I purchased a new one (RT-AC68U). I was thinking I could just upload the settings from my old router to my new router. That didn't happen. I have noticed that the max frequency on the old router under overclocking is 800 MHz where the new router is 1400MHz.
Anyway, I have run into a snag setting up the new router. I seem to have both a vlan0 port and a vlan1 port. I have everything set exactly as the old router. I tried to nvram unset vlan0ports but after a reboot, they came back.
My router also won't issue any dhcp.
I have two WAP each with two guest SSIDs on vlan 14 and vlan 15.
So....I have started back at square one. I got all three bridges setup (two guest networks), I got dhcp working on each subnet, and the wireless setup. Next step was static IPs. Any reason setting up static IPs would cause DHCP to not work on any of the wireless SSIDs or the 4 LAN ports?
Once I setup static IPs I get "no internet connection" on the wireless.
thanks in advance.....pulling my hair out on this one.

I assume you mean static leases?
If so "strange" characters in the name of the static leases can cause trouble. Be sure to only use characters _________________ Router Netgear R6400, Linksys EA6900 (XvortexCFE), Linksys E2000 (converted WRT320N), WRT54GS v1.

Thank you for your response. Yes, my apologies, it has been one of those days. I did in fact mean static leases.

I have checked, double-checked, and triple-checked my Mac addresses, names, and IP addresses. Everything was also copied/pasted from a working settings.bin file.
Could the copying from the file be the issue?
I also have 59 static leases. Have a reached a limit? Like I said, they all worked fine on the older AC68U

Copying and pasting could be the culprit i tried it once and it was not working _________________ Router Netgear R6400, Linksys EA6900 (XvortexCFE), Linksys E2000 (converted WRT320N), WRT54GS v1.
