Running "cat /proc/mtd" in Administration -> Commands still didn't escape special characters properly:
Code:
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00080000 00020000   nameboott;
mtd1: 00180000 00020000   namenvram;
mtd2: 01e00000 00020000   namelinux;
mtd3: 01c80000 00020000   namerootfs
mtd4: 06000000 00020000   nameddwrt;

Running the same command in SSH shell:
Code:

root@RT-N18U:~# cat /proc/mtd
dev:    size   erasesize  name
mtd0: 00080000 00020000 "boot"
mtd1: 00180000 00020000 "nvram"
mtd2: 01e00000 00020000 "linux"
mtd3: 01c80000 00020000 "rootfs"
mtd4: 06000000 00020000 "ddwrt"
