Netgear WNDR3700 v2

Same issue as reported here. Cannot upgrade to this build (from r35681). The upgrade file might be too big.

That makes me wonder if it will work with my v1.

That being said.. I wonder what's all changed. I'm still running 'r33679'

Status: Error connecting internet

Webui upgrade from 35531

Rolling back to 35531 works ok; slow to connect pppoe or receive 0.0.0.0 WAN ip. restarting pptpd works ok

Not internet with PPPoe logging

Forgot to mention: WNDR3700 v1 works fine.

I have two v1 devices and successfully applied almost every build since more than two years. On my third router, which is a v2, I now got stuck with r35681. However, I did not see any significant changes when applying new builds over the time – at least in respect of the way I’m using the devices (as switch and access point).

TP-Link Archer C7 V2.0 IL
Updated over GUI
Reset: NO.
Errors: suddenly I see? that wire connected computers can't see one the others and sharing is gone. But wifi connected computer can see and use shared folders.

It's my only trouble? It is the bug or security feature? Smile

Router: Netgear WNDR3700v1
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r33679 (11/04/17)
File used: wndr3700-factory_NA.img
Upgrade r33679 -> r35770
Result: Failed.
Once it started to upgrade the firmware, it immediately rebooted back to the previous version.
