install worked fine but afterwards I couldnt access internet. My WAN connection is static ip. It appears as though it wasnt taking those settings or using them at all. I couldnt ping the gateway or anything on the WAN side. Reverted to r35681 and wan connection began to work again.
Another solid build. This ath9k router has been performing really well on all builds over the past year or so. _________________ Buffalo WZR‑600DHP (WZR-HP-AG300H)
Error: unfortunatelly Yes
==> No wan access
==> High CPU usage (between 50% and 80%)
==> A lot of error entries with [daemon.err httpd[1865]: Request Error Code 408: No request appeared within a reasonable time period.]
So, again a pretty bad build. Currently i'm unable to use any build from 2018 and i stick to [34080] from 12/14/17....
Wait. What? I am on 35681. I will not be able to web update from this build?
I was looking for an update today because port forwarding appears to be broken. It populates the source net field with odd characters. Router failed to reboot through the GUI. Had to flip switch to get router online. Then would not connect to internet. After removing the port forward it immediately connected to internet.
Update error in Netgear WNDR3700 V2.
The builds r35767, r35770 and r35831 do not update this router.
The last build working is r35681.
In 35681, webupdate has been disabled by Brainslayer.
You will have to update via tftp or command line.
what? where & when was this? what commit(s)?
Just check build 35681. Starting with that build, webupdate has ceased working.
I don’t think that the issue comes from r35681 itself. It’s rather related to upgrade files of the followers (r35767, r35770 and r35831). You can upgrade (downgrade) from r35681 to any earlier build, but none of the newer files can be applied through web, neither from r35681 nor from earlier builds. I suspect it’s the size of the files, which significantly increased after r35681.

Interestingly, this size difference does not appear to be present for all devices.
For the TL-WA902NDv3, the size of the files is constantly 3841 kB, for all 2018 builds. Despite of the file size being the same for all the builds, web update in 35681 fails. OK, I have to admit that I did not try downgrading yet.
