This build would not let me connect to the internet when I used my saved config even if I said wipe it and loaded it after the flash.

If you are saying you used a backup after resetting the configuration you have not really done anything. What you need to do is to reset the configuration, as you said wipe, and then reconfigure. Using a backup just creates the same configuration that may have issues as you already had.

WRT1900ACS (v1&v2) tangent post - I noticed there are new Linksys firmwares released. Not that I'm planning to use it (I did archive a copy in case of course), just sharing in case it was useful info. My apologies if this should have been a different post.

Otherwise, tangent2, I'm mending fine from my bike accident - thanks again for the positive thoughts.

I'm feeling perky enough that if a new DD-WRT build came out I was going to go for it. Smile

Linksys has been busy last month.
They also had new stock firmware for the WRT1900AC - both v1 and v2 - with similar release notes.
I've been running the new stock firmware on my WRT1900ACv1 and using it as an AP.
Been very stable for almost 2 weeks.
Note that they have restricted 5GHz to lower frequency bands and no more 80 width.

Been up 25 days 17 hours with #35681.

Not too bad...
