Hey lads, I tried to upgrade my WNDR3700v3 to a newer dev build a late april build, but upon doing that the router rebooted and the blue 5ghz/2.4ghz power led is on, the power light is on and it can detect wan cables being connected, but:

1. The unsecured dd-wrt connection does not appear, I can't reach 192.168.1.1 through ethernet either.

2. 30/30/30 does nothing.

I would really appreciate some help, thank you.

Ya don't use builds after 35531. Smile After it's booted for a while, and you press & hold reset button for 20+ sec, nothing happens? Or it just doesn't help? Sounds like you need to try TFTP:
https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/TFTP_flash
https://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Recover_from_a_Bad_Flash#Recovering_with_TFTP
You could try 35531 trailed build, but the OEM f/w might be required to recover.

Google dd-wrt serial recovery. Tftp recovery won't work on this unit.

Thanks for the info fellas, I will keep digging around and serial recovery if I have to, but it looks super complicated and frankly the cost of the router doesn't justify an extra 10 bucks on a cable, are there any cheap dual band router recommendations that have decent recovery options (like tftp) besides serial that you guys recommend?
