I have never run the stock firmware before. I wonder how easy it would be to bridge other routers off of it. I have a couple other routers running dd-wrt and they act as bridges off the main one. I want to be able to use those still. In theory they should work fine as long as I can match the settings right?

you can bridge other routers to the WRT3200, it is quite simple with ddwrt.
