Router Model Netgear R7800
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r54109 std (11/24/23)
Kernel Version Linux 6.1.63 #50 SMP Fri Nov 24 06:39:29 +07 2023 armv7l
update: CLI r54079 > r54109
reset: NO
mode: Gateway
status: Operational 1h+
errors: Flashing via CLI (ssh) still needs reboot via magic number codes...
root@router:/tmp# reboot
-sh: chmod: I/O error
-sh: /tmp/.rc_shutdown: Permission denied
-sh: /sbin/reboot: I/O error
root@router:/tmp# echo u > /proc/sysrq-trigger
root@router:/tmp# echo s > /proc/sysrq-trigger and now on this line it reboots...it used to be ok on synch and reboot was issued by code b next line...
root@router:/tmp# echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger
no idea what is going on with reboot script, but for me been away of the unit...flashing via CLI it is always a trill and suspense, now even more fun...but..as long as i ve found the "hot water" (how to reboot) im fine
Otherwise nothing new, yet...Thanks BS and Team ! _________________ Atheros

...NO GOOD FOR ME
Router/Version: EA8500
File/Kernel: Linux 6.1.63
Previous/Reset: r54103 std / Auto Reset
Mode/Status: Test Unit
Issues/Errors: Bootlooping after restore
Flashed this build from a booted Partition 2 (r54103 test release) to Partition 1. After several reboots and NVRAM ERASES, it actually DID boot to Partition 1 w/r54109. So I restored the backup from r54103. This caused the router to be in a constant bootloop with numerous automatic NVRAM ERASE procedures as seen in the serial output. I have let this loop run now for about 45 minutes which included pulling the power plug a few times to no avail. After growing tired of watching this, I then TFTPed 53562 back to partition 1. Bootlooped many times then eventually did boot to r54103 on Partition 2. Weird! _________________ Linksys EA8500 (Internet Gateway, AP/VAP) - DD-WRT r53562
