I have previously had discussions with BrainSlayer regarding the Quantenna hardware in the RT-AC87U specifically and was told that the upstream in-kernel driver does not support the hardware. This is a completely different opensource mac80211 driver, but not sure if it is the one in use currently in the DD-WRT source tree as the KConfig file does not seem to match the config option:
If it is the same driver and bits, and it's still not working with current Kernel, then it might just be a pipe dream. Anyhow, I will submit this up the food chain for review. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
