I have a 802.11g wireless network with a WRT54G V4 and a WRT54GS V1.1. I also have a 802.11a wireless network with a pair of Proxim Tsunami MP11a. Both of these 2 networks are parallel, i.e. they are connecting the same 2 locations for redundency.

The wireless-a network is running on 5.3GHz, and the wireless-g is of course 2.4GHz. For the wireless-g, I tried with both vertical and horizontal polarization antenna but both gave me the noise of -95. The wireless-a has the noise of -90. Since both are connecting the same place, my question is, is higher frequency getting more noise?
