Hi folks,
I have a concern that I could not fix, now I have a Bullet 2 HP with DD-WRT, and I want to do is set the Rate of Transmission, but I managed it.
I've seen these options which I have modified to see if I get results but nothing (Transmission Minimum Rate and Maximum Transmission Rate) The idea is to establish a rate of 12Mbps.
It is noteworthy that this computer is used as AP.
Thanks
What I need to do is order the AP on how much to transmit, eg TX 12Mbs and not as it brings auto factory.
It is noteworthy that the team I want to do that I have as AP, and the equipment I use is EnGenius EOC-2610 DD-WRT.

Hi, you need to be precise and answer to our questions if you want to be helped:
1) you are talking about a computer as AP in your first message. What about it ?
2) what is your scope havin the AP running at 12Mbps ?
3? HP2 Bullet, which firmware version ? EOC-2610, which firmware version ?
4) distance between AP and clients, distance between the APs if several, and what you are trying to do ?
Thanks, Michel. _________________ 2x EOC-2160 - AP 2x14dB Yagy to 450m link

Ok!, I
The EOC-2610 I have as AP, the problem is that I have some clients who recinem excellent sign (-50, -35) and sometimes my AP not assigned the appropriate TX and RX 1Mbs but sometimes assigned as I feel the obligation to assign a value to each customer TX, in this case 12Mbps, but the RX is that customer 1, then for the client does not have 1 in the AP I assign a specific TX for the customer RX has an Ideal.
The firmware I use is that for the st 10/10/09
In the AP have 9 clients and client farthest is 600 meters but I have with that customer NanoStatio 2 so I do not think the problem is, I have the AP at a height of 100 feet on FM radio tower.
Hi, what is your language, we might help you in another section, as I dont understand all your english, dont take it bad, we all do mistakes
1) You have an AP EOC-2610 on a FM tower.
2) Firmware is from 10/10/2009
3) Maximum distance is 600m
4) different kinds of clients connecting to the AP
Here are some suggestions :
1) upgrade BOTH AP an CL to the latest firmwares
2) Try using another channel. It might be interferences from the FM tower.
3) try using a B-ONLY (long preamble) or G-ONLY (short preamble) configuration, no encryption, no Super G, no Extended, diversity ENABLED, TX Power 27dBM , Antenna gain 0dB.
4) the EOC-2610 are very directive, so it might be a problem of area / sector to cover.
Any external antenna ? Give more details.
