HW: Linksys WRT54GL
FW: DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std

I have my wired LAN set up and working lovely.
Now I have a wireless laptop running XP sp2 which I'm trying to connect to the network.
I'm getting "Limited or no connectivity on the windows side" - "..This problem occured because the network did not assign a network address to the computer".

Now I know very little about wireless networks so I'm gonna dump any piece of info that might be relevant here.

My router is set up for DHCP server (other machines get LAN addresses just fine). Ipconfig on the laptop indeed shows an ip adress which is not in my LAN.
My wireless is set up:

-- Basic --
Mode: AP
Network Mode: mixed
SSID: Whatever
Channel: Auto
Broadcast: Enable
Sensitivity: 2000

-- Radius --
Radius: Disable

-- Security --
Mode: WEP
Default key: 1
Encryption: 64 bit

MAC filter is disabled and if anything in the advanced section is required just ask and I'll post the info. Basically I haven't changed anything from the default.

The laptop has been tested at work and can connect to wireless there.

How do I proceed?

Thanks

Have you tried assigning the laptop an IP to see if it connects that way?

It occurred to me right after I posted the question. Didn't work.
Can't even ping the router.
