Hello, recently I have recently got new router ( Asus RT-N66U ) and decided to install DD-WRT on it, but apparently that went horribly long.
After spending 6 hours trying to fix it by my self, nothing good turned out of it.

I have tried 30/30/30 reset didn't help.
But i have noticed one thing, when I reset router ( turn it off, hold down WPS button and turn it on ) I'm able to get into http://imgkk.com/i/79q3.png but split second later if i reload page I'm unable to access it ( shows status Sending request and it just times out ).

It fails to connect.
When i run 'ping 192.168.1.1 -t', when restarting router only 1-2 pings are successful and then every other is like router would be unresponsive ( same with http )

To put the router in recovery mode, you have to turn it on while the Reset button is pressed. The WPS button is for clearing nvram.

Just repeat the procedure. There's no reason for you to be unable to access Recovery Mode, unless you had run into an issue while updating the CFE rather than the firmware.

We're working on JTAG recovery should it be necessary, though it doesn't sound like it in your case. Serial might help you out.

Resolved my solution.
I had to clear nvram and then try to boot into recovery mode. I was also trying to upload wrong firmware.

However I'm still experiencing some issues, network speed is not as fast as it should be ( using router ):

I'm getting at maximum ~115 megabits per second ( http://imgkk.com/i/c_fy.png );
When cat 5e cable is directly plugged into pc, I get ~300 megabit per second speeds ( http://imgkk.com/i/n-d7.png http://imgkk.com/i/3cb5.png )

Any recommendations?

Isp - fiber optic converter - router - pc = maximum 120mbps
Isp - fiber optic converter - pc = 300-350mbps

When ever router is connected, I'm unable to reach full download and upload speeds I should be getting, not sure if its configuration issue, dd-wrt or router it self ( which seems unlikely ).

DD-WRT is not the fastest at routing. I would suggest that, if you want to make full use of your bandwidth, you should check out Merlin's builds on SmallNetBuilder here:
http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showthread.php?t=7846
These builds are improved versions of Asus stock firmware with many added features. Not quite as customizable as DD-WRT but very powerful.

RMerlin, I'm surprised you didn't shamelessly plug your own thread!

This is the DD-WRT forums. I am but a guest here, any self-promotion would be impolite. Smile
