Well you would need a guy over here who bought the router from Europe to have a EU serial number.
If you scroll few pages backwards you will find someone who has a router bought from EU zone, tried it and bricked, so if you get a serial that works do let me know thanks.
my serial number doesnt work any idea or luck for yourself?
Support and warranty will be with the US in this case. Our website will only allow downloads from an EU serial number. Check on the US site:

How can I flash my DDWRT back to stock FW?
I downloaded the Professional firmware (dd-wrt based) 48.68 M. Following the instruction, flash to wzr1750dhp-pro-v23sp2-23709a-eu, then flash to wzr1750dhp-userfriendly-2.24-eu, then it bricks. Then I need to use TTL to recover to other DDWRT version
As I know somebody can go back to 2.22 eu from 23709a. Can you upload the 2.22 eu FW? Otherwise any alternative solution?
Thank you
can you supply your routers serial number as we need to download the professional firmware, mine is from stated, usa so cannot do it thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you. Followed your instructions for enabling entware/opkg on my WZR-1750DHPD, and they worked perfectly. Currently using DD-WRT build 26450M.
Been trying to get a pkg manager operational on this thing over the past week to no avail, until now. Kind of ridiculous that this basic functionality is so broken in current DD-WRT builds—when the extensibility of a pkg manager seems to me like one of the core perks of going DD-WRT.
Now if I can just find a repo that has a working HFS+ pkg…

I just bought a WZR-1750DHPD for the sole purpose of mirroring web traffic to a machine running Wireshark, only to find that this isn't supported (Running the iptables command fails silently; this is widely reported in other threads with no solution).
Has anyone had any success in this area? Is this something that can be addressed if I have opkg working (which is also a major pain point with this device but seems to be working now with entware).
If its impossible, will this possibly be addressed in the future? Or should I return this and get something that works?
I bricked my router while trying to flash it back to stock. Now, when I try to send image by tftp, I get I/O error (-4).
Somewhere in this thread I found that I need to use webupload image, but that fails too.
The command I used:
flash -noheader : nflash1.trx
Can someone tell me what image I need to send by tftp to cfe?
UPD: looks like there is not enough space for image. transmission fails in about 75% with message: "unable to get responses from server", but smaller images like cfe.bin are successfully flashed.
Is there any small working image of dd-wrt? And what may be the reason for that memory problem?
UPD2: I flashed openwrt image:
openwrt-bcm53xx-buffalo-wzr-1750dhp-squashfs.trx
from
https://downloads.openwrt.org/snapshots/trunk/bcm53xx/generic
Now I have ssh access and fully functional linux onboard.
The only question: how the hell get back to dd-wrt or stock?

So whats special about this professional build?[/quote]
I'm curious to know whats so special about this build as well. I've installed the latest firmware on both of mine and so far so good. It would be great if I could get the hard drive to go to sleep while I am not using it, but in the meantime I am disabling usb support unless I need it.
Posted: Mon Jun 08, 2015 16:48 Post subject: Gigabit WAN?
Hopefully this is the best place to ask, but is the WAN port on the WZR-1750DHP gigabit?
I am lucky enough to have a 6 channel cable modem that comcast can push faster than 100 mbps. I also have the WZR-1750DHP running dd-wrt Kong 26450M.
If I connect a computer directly to the cable modem it can go 115+ mbps. If I connect with the WZR-1750DHP's WAN port to the cable modem and then connect the computer into the LAN on the WZR-1750DHP it maxes at 100mbps. Everything I can read about this device in the manufacturers specification states gigabit.
Is the WAN port really gigabit on this device? Or if it is gigabyte is there maybe a WAN speed setting or limitation to the driver that is being used in the DD-WRT implementation?
If the WAN really is 100mbps; does anybody know of a dd-wrt capable router with a gigabit WAN?
EDIT:
Ok so I just found the VLAN section under Setup, and I see that VLAN2 is the WAN and it thinks that it has gigabit.. The color of the VLAN status is yellow though... the other statuses read green on the gigabit connected devices. I tried to force it to negotiate at gigabit rather than Auto, but no luck... anyone else have gigabit WAN working?
Posted: Tue Jun 09, 2015 13:37 Post subject: PSA Don't flash factory 2.27 to the DHP/DHPD or you're stuck
Just a heads up: If you want to continue to use DD-WRT on your WZR-1750DHP and DHPD do not flash factory 2.27 (released 2015-04-13) to the device. Per Buffalo, it is not reversible.
Has anyone tried the firmware the link to which imranjamadar posted?
I'm pretty disappointed in the fact that I ended up with the non-dd-wrt firmware; but I admit that ending up with a brick will be far worse.
If I were to try it, what is the order in which they must be installed?
Back to the point of the licensing issues, I am still waiting for the Buffalo folks to provide a more detailed response to my question regarding compatibility. For now my conclusion is that there is no technical reason for the firmware switch not to be possible. If so - there ought to be a way to get it down without bricking the router.
