Your post contains two different links, one which is "http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/" that seems to contain new builds and the second "http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt-ren/K3-AC-Arm/" that apparently contains old builds... Is it #1 for beta builds and #2 for stable builds? Or is #1 for testing builds and #2 for outdated builds? Who knows... <Kong> isn't clear in his Readme.
And your original post isn't clear about which builds we should use. _________________ www.DareYourMind.net
There is no right or wrong build.
YOU have to choose which you want to run.
Heck, download them all and give am all shot.
Once you find one that YOU like, stick with it. _________________ Router currently owned:

Right, that makes things clear. This is just a pure mess . Thank you. _________________ www.DareYourMind.net

Anybody knows if the new build r26866/netgear-r7000/ the bridge mode is working?
Sacro, this thread is for adding best practices or quick tips.
Please create your own thread for questions about bridging in r7000. _________________ Router currently owned:

I have found several links pointing to the "ddwrt-ren" folder, and notice that their are folders based by build (25100 for example). However these are all dated year 2014. The ddwrt folder does not have folders based by build, it simply has the a single file for the model of the router, but it is much later, dated may of year 2015.
Further, if I follow the link for on the main post of this thread for "Alternate page for Kong based firmware" it takes me to something very similar to ddwrt-rev but it includes an additional build folder labeled 26265 that is not present on Kong's website.
What is the difference and what is everyone's recommendations?
Good questions but you posted questions in a tips/tricks and how to thread. This thread is not for asking questions.
Please create your own thread for questions.

When I try "Wl assoclist" on DD-WRT v24-sp2 (02/26/15) std - build 26372, I get nothing back even when there are quite a few clients of the R7000 in access point mode.
