This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build. This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware and SPECIFIC build (e.g. 27745_NEWD-2_K2.6_mega-nv64k.bin). Do not ask questions about your specific router or how to configure it in this thread; create your own thread to discuss any specific problems you have or need resolved. Please also do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build. _________________ THERE ARE NO STRANGERS HERE; ONLY FRIENDS YOU HAVEN'T YET MET.

Still problem with Checkpoinmt VPN. Same as on previous Linksys E3000. VPN client is interrupted after few minutes. On original Asus firmware no problem. Is this problem handled somehow? _________________ 1 x Asus RT-N18U

I finally upgraded, this time using a different computer just to be certain it wasn't mine causing any issues.
To my surprise and great relief most issues are gone! It was mostly on my end after all. No more crazy glitching out themes or random reboots when clicking stuff for the most part. It did reboot once and gave me the ASUS CFE even though TTL was 64 and I had just flashed it and changed the password successfully.
I did have to reload the firmware a few times until I read you're supposed to power cycle ASUS routers after flashing and waiting a minute or two. It seemed to work smoothly after that. Before that I could access the internet but not DD-WRT no matter what.
I can confirm that wireless MAC filtering IS working for me in this build.
The reset button is broken in this build for me, having no response after being held for 30 seconds.

Errors: I'm also unable to access the gui wirelessly when the router is set as client bridge.
One LAN wired AP in WDS to the 2nd E2500 in WDS.
Wired & wireless clients to 2nd E2500 working very well.
No problems with this...
other than Reset Button doesn't work ---luckily I haven't needed it -

WDS the 3700v3 to the 2nd E2500 (from post above)
Working well... better than expected
Wireless clients connect to the 3700 without a problem... and on to the 2nd E2500 and to 1st E2500
that's wired to WRT160NL wired to switch and on to main router out to the wild.
Initial setup couldn't get the E2500 to show in status on the 3700 so
finally did sync reboots on all three and it's all happy happy.
Reset button don't work with wndr3700v3 w/K3.x build either ... weird thing is you can hold it for about
30 seconds and let go makes all the lights flash but it does nothing else --- never interrupted my bridge.
