I have a Netgear WNDR3400v1 that is running OpenRG that my ISP flashed on to it but I want to format it it run DD-WRT. I've tried TFTPing into it but it fails every time. Can anybody help me?
Also I cannot get into a router interface because the OpenRG firmware is just a backbone. When I try logging into it (192.168.1.1) it forwards me to router.optimum.net where I can manage very few settings.

you need to use serial console to force the flash at the cfe prompt.
however, it could also be that the cfe is not stock. Similar to the wrt54g-tm (T-Mobile) and the wrt54g-rg (Rogers).
Both those router have a special cfe that needed to be replaced.
in any event, you will need to use serial for either forcing the flash of firmware, or dumping data to see what is going on. _________________ [Moderator Deleted]

Hi there!,
Did you find the way to access to the router web page settings?
