Perhaps for now, but the main point of this thread is to post actual firmware binaries, not links to firmware. In the case that we can no longer get these OEM firmwares, they would be available thru this thread.. _________________ Wireless N Config | Linking Routers | DD-WRT Wiki | DD-WRT Builds | Peacock - Broadcom FAQ
Well, I seem to have discovered the reason they have been removing firmware from their site. I'm not sure whether or not I will go public yet since it may lead to legal action against them. I'm talking with them to hopefully resolve this issue.
I don't know what information you have received, however, I talked with the customer support today about the Firmware for WAG320N not being available for download on the website.
The answer I got from them was that they are removing firmware for most devices that are more then 3 years old (from release date) because they don't support them anymore in the US (only offer 3 years of complimentary assisted support).
Which is quite weird because they don't take the customers in EU into consideration where we can still buy the WAG320N brand new in stores.
We have lifetime complimentary assisted support in EU and they have to request the firmware from the US if they need it for a case.
But I would like to hear what you heard about linksys removing firmware from their site.
