I didn't pull this off of my router. I didn't backup my firmware when I started all this. However, I was able to flash this file onto my WRT54GS v5 and get DD-WRT on it eventually

I have just gotten off chat with a Linksys (Belkin) support representative and they have explained that due to the GPL License, they can no longer provide firmwares for download on some of their older devices.
Quote:
Angela Kristine D: Hello Ernie MacEntyre. My name is Angela Kristine.
Angela Kristine D: Welcome to Linksys Global Chat Support! Is this your initial contact, or do you have an existing Case number?
You: First contact I believe.
You: Having trouble downloading firmware from your support website.
Angela Kristine D: Let me create a case for you, real quick.
Angela Kristine D: Thank you for confirming and providing that information.
Angela Kristine D: To verify, you looking for an available Firmware for your Linksys product, did I get that right?
You: Thats correct. When I visit the support website here > http://support.linksys.com/en-ca/support/routers/WRT160N You: It tells me there are no firmware/driver downloads available.
Angela Kristine D: There is no more Firmware available for your device.
Angela Kristine D: The Firmware is no longer available due to the GPL rules( General Public License). The release of this Firmware is limited to a specific time and we need to comply with this License Agreement.
Angela Kristine D: You have one of our legacy devices that this device has been discontinued a long time ago. I apologize for the inconvenience, but, you may need to consider a model upgrade.
You: I already have upgraded. This router would be donated to someone who cannot afford such an upgrade and now I see that it is to be a brick.
Angela Kristine D: I'm sorry to hear that.
Angela Kristine D: Would there be anything else that I can assist you with, Ernie?
You: Unless there is a way to provide prior customers with firmware upgrades, I shall be returning the WRT1900AC router I recently purchased and making sure to let my customers know about this unfortunate situation.
Angela Kristine D: I understand how you feel about this and I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. However, even I can't do anything about it.
You: I understand that as well, you have been an excellent help. It's not your fault, just Linksys as a company.
Angela Kristine D: Thank you for understanding.
You: Thank you for your explanation about it being something to do with the GPL license; not many people in the community knew about that.
You: Have a wonderful day!
Angela Kristine D: Are you sure you don't have furthermore concerns before we end this session? You: I do not.
You: Thanks again.
You've ended the chat.
I've been thinking about rounding up the firmwares posted on this thread, and re-uploading them to my MEGA.co.nz account, with links to each file in a single post.
this is a very weird one! never dared to flash it.
FW_WRT610N_V1_V2_2.00.00.05_20090710_code.bin
Above linked firmware doesn't work on v1 hardware. (not even sure if it works on v2 hardware). I Found this one from digging. The links provided didn't work in the other posts but removing the numbers before the file name fixed it. Thanks to dottat for figuring out the correct versions in 2009.
