Hi guys,

im currently using Buffalo WHP-HR-GN running DDWRT build 18777. previously it was ok, but not sure since when it started to fail (im not sure as i do not use ethernet everyday).

ok, so here is the weird part. my buffalo repeat wifi signal as client mode (192.168.0.x), broadcast another signal as AP(192.168.2.x). all clients (lan / wifi) are able to ping to 192.168.0.x and surf internet.

1 PC named abc connect via LAN, 1 laptop 123 connects via WiFi. they both able to ping each other just fine. Problem is, if laptop 123 connect via LAN, then the ping failed. BUT! laptop 123 connect via LAN can still online and ping to 0.x just fine. but ping to local lan clients failed. Although it still can ping to another WiFi device just fine.

so is this routing fault? or any troubleshoot method?

thanks!

it's a known issue which exists over a year now. look here: http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=155483&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
don't expect a fix soon. devs don't care about this problem obviously.

you can try adding
Code:
sleep 10
swconfig dev eth0 vlan 1 set ports "0 1 2 3 4 5"
swconfig dev eth0 set apply

to Administration/Commands/Startup

works in build 19327.
